The JCK keynote speaker has been announced along with an expanded educational offering for 2023.
JCK 2023 will be held June 2-5 at The Venetian Expo & The Venetian in Las Vegas.
Johnny Earle, CEO of innovative retailer Johnny Cupcakes, will deliver the official keynote on Saturday, June 3 from 8:00-9:00 am PT in the Palazzo Ballroom on Level 5 of the Venetian – a departure from the traditional opening keynote time slot on Friday morning.
In this keynote presentation, titled “Creating Customer Obsession & Memorable Experiences with Limited Resources,” Earle will explore how retailers and brands can create a wave of word of mouth, loyalty and obsession around their store or product – and within their team . through the power of experiential branding, even when resources are limited.
The world’s first ‘T-Shirt Bakery’, Johnny Cupcakes has a global following, with each new launch dramatically increasing brand awareness.
New product launches cause 10-block lines outside each of the two Johnny Cupcakes stores in Massachusetts, and superfans of the brand have even been known to get lasting cupcake tattoos.
Attendees of the keynote presentation sponsored by Sarine Technologies will learn how to get behind the wheel and take their organization into new territory by gently moving away from old practices.
The return of JCK will also feature an expanded educational program from JCK Talks with over 60 sessions June 1-4.
The program is curated to provide key insights presented by industry experts and thought leaders in multi-perspective panels and formats with featured speakers.
A day before the JCK Show, several training sessions will be held in Venetian Rooms 101 and 103 from 9am to 6pm PT.
JCK Talks will then air on the Showcase Stage on Level 2 beginning June 2 (10:00am-6:00pm PT).
Educational topics include: trends, retail experiences, marketing, sustainability, DEI, innovation, hot topics and breaking industry news.
A first for JCK, Industry Breaking News will be dedicated to key industry updates presented live at the show.
Another novelty this year is the Social Media Stage – in the Innovation Hub on level 2 near the Showcase Stage.
The Social Media Stage provides attendees with key actionable tips and tricks for content creation and engagement on social media.
A key focus of the feature will be the importance of standing out on social media.
Each session lasts 30 minutes and is led by some of the biggest influencers and digital marketers in the industry.
In addition to the showcase stage and the social media stage, the Innovation Hub showcases new technologies on the market and a convenient demo area to create a focused place in the exhibition space dedicated to what’s new and the next developments. and what’s trending for the future of innovation in the jewelry industry.
