Award-winning British designer Freya Rose will launch her new woven Kindred necklace for International Women’s Day (IWD) and donate 100% of profits to The Prince’s Trust campaign: #CHANGEAGIRLSLIFE.
The new woven Kindred necklace is meticulously handcrafted and crocheted by jewelers using a rare East Indonesian craft passed down through the generations – a distinctive, now specialized technique that only a handful of people around the world still master.
The new design is a unique addition to her existing web jewelry collection and will be available in two premium finishes: 22k gold vermeil and sterling silver.
The founder of her eponymous jewelery brand, Freya Rose, said: “Discovering the intricate and beautiful technique of wire mesh while visiting our artisans in Bali, the idea immediately struck me that the woven nature of the craft represents the power the women support women.
“The concept behind the fabric is that while it’s light, delicate and feminine, it’s so strong – and reflects how women are stronger together.”
The interconnected design of the woven Kindred Necklace represents the beauty of women empowering women and is a symbol of friendship and deep, personal connections.
Freya Rose London launches on IWD on 8th March 2023 donating 100% of profits from sales of the Kindred woven necklace on IWD to The Prince’s Trust’s #CHANGEAGIRLSLIFE campaign.
Freya Rose London will then donate 5% of the profits from the sale of the necklace to The Prince’s Trust Women Supporting Women initiative.
